Abstract

INDONESIA Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbandingan kemampuan berbicara di X MIA 3 dan X IIS 2 di MAN 1 Mataram tahun akademik 2019/2020. Penelitian ini diklasifikasikan sebagai penelitian kuantitatif. Ini melibatkan 82 siswa yang masing-masing kelas di X MIA 3 adalah 40 sedangkan X IIS 2 berisikan 42 siswa. Peneliti menerapkan tes yakni test berbicara. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah uji dialog secara lisan. Kemampuan berbicara X MIA 3 kelas bagus yang menunjukkan hasil tertinggi adalah 90 dan diikuti dengan 85 sementara skor terendah adalah 65 dan kemampuan berbicara di X IIS 2 menunjukkan hasil tertinggi adalah 90 dan skor terendah adalah 40. Peneliti menemukan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara skor siswa di kelas X MIA 3 dan X IIS 2 dengan nilai rata rata 76,87 dan 69,52. Sementara peneliti menghitung nilai standar deviasi yang menunjukkan 2,72 untuk X MIA 3 dan 2,54 untuk X IIS 2. Sebagai Tambahan, nilai tes 20,54 lebih tinggi dari t-table 1.990 di tingkat signifikan 0.05 dengan derajat kebebasan (df)= 80. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa ada perbedaan kedua kelas di X MIA 3 dan X IIS 2 di MAN 1 Mataram pada akademik tahun 2019/2020 yang dapat di simpulkan bahwa kemampuan berbicara kelas X MIA 3 lebih tinggi dari pada kelas X IIS 2. INGGRIS The objective of this research is to find out the differences of speaking ability in X MIA 3 and X IIS 2 at MAN 1 Mataram in academic year 2019/2020. This research was classified as quantitative descriptive research. It involved 82 students which each of class in X MIA 3 was 40 while the X IIS 2 cinsisted of 42 students. The researcher employed speaking test. The instrument used to collect the data in this research was test of dialogue test. The speaking ability of X MIA 3 class was good which showed the higest score was 90 and followed by the 85 while the lowest score was 65 and the speaking ability in X IIS 2 showed the higest score was 90 and the lowest score was 40. The reseasrcher found that there was significance difference between the students’ score in X MIA 3 and X IIS 2 classes by the mean score that 76,87 and 69,52. While the researcher calculated the Deviation Standard score which showed 2,72 for the X MIA 3 and 2,54 for the X IIS 2. In addition, the value of the test 20,54 higher than t-table 1,990 at the leel of significant 0.05 with degree of freedom (df)= 80. Based on the result of this research, the researcher concluded that there is significance difference of both classes in X MIA 3 and X IIS 2 at MAN 1 Mataram in academic year 2019/2020 which it can be concluded that the X MIA 3 speaking ability higher than X IIS 2.
