Abstract

INDONESIA Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan boneka tangan untuk pengajaran kosakata. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre-test and post-test design Penelitian ini terdiri dari pre-test dan post-test yang ditulis berdasarkan pengalaman siswa sebagai tes menulis dan alokasi waktu adalah 30 menit, dan 2 waktu. pengobatan dengan menggunakan boneka tangan. Dalam treatment, peneliti memberikan penjelasan tentang teks deskriptif, struktur generik, dan fitur teks deskriptif. Ada dua variabel dalam penelitian ini, boneka tangan sebagai variabel bebas, dan pengajaran kosa kata sebagai variabel terikat. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I MTs Hadil Ishalah Bilebante dengan jumlah siswa 24 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan datanya adalah tes. Tes digunakan untuk mengetahui data tentang kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks deskriptif. Tes hanya ditulis oleh pengalaman siswa. Sebelum melakukan uji-t, peneliti melakukan uji normalitas data yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah semua variabel normal atau tidak. Setelah mengumpulkan dan menghitung data peneliti menemukan bahwa nilai rata-rata pre-test di kelas eksperimen adalah 41 dengan total skor 960. Setelah dua kali perlakuan, peneliti memberikan kelas eksperimen (siswa yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan boneka tangan). Skor post-test dikompetisikan untuk mengetahui peningkatan orang peduli, hasil post-test ratarata kelas eksperimen rata-rata 64 dengan total skor 1550. Berdasarkan analisis yang digunakan t-score dapat dijelaskan bahwa t-score adalah 10,552 dengan 24 derajat kebebasan terkait dengan t-tabel. Pada derajat kebebasan t-tabel, adalah 32 berarti nilainya adalah 2,036. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tscore>t-tabel (10,552 >2,064). Berarti signifikansi adalah 5%. Selain itu, hasil penelitiannya adalah hipotesis nol (Ha) diterima dan (Ho) ditolak. ENGLISH This study aimed to know the effect of using a hand puppet for teaching vocabulary. The approach of this research was quantitative research. This study applied preexperimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design This study consisted of pre-test and post-test written by students’ experience as a writing test and the allocation time is 30 minutes, and 2-time treatments by using hand puppet. In the treatment, the researcher gives an explanation about descriptive text, generic structure, and features of descriptive text. There were two variables in this research, hand puppet as an independent variable, and teaching vocabulary as a dependent variable. The subject of this research was first-grade MTs Hadil Ishalah Bilebante with the total number of students consists of 24. The instrument for collecting data was a test. The test was used to find out the data about students’ abilities in writing descriptive text. The test was only written by students’ experience. Before conducting a t-test, the researcher conducted test normality data was carried out to know whether all variables were normal or not. After collecting and calculating the data the researcher found that the mean score of the pre-test in the experimental class was 41 with a total score of 960. After two treatments, the researchers gave the experimental class (students those treated used hand puppet). Post-test scores were competed to determine the improvement of people cared, the post-test results for the average experimental class, the average was 64 with a total score of 1550. Based on the analysis used t-score, it can be explained that the t-score was 10.552 with 24 degrees of freedom related to t-table. In the degree of freedom t-table, was 32 means that the value was 2,036. It can be concluded that tscore>t-table (10.552 >2.064). Mean significance was 5%. In addition, the results of the study were the null hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and (Ho) was rejected.
